The Novella: Istanbul Intrigue, finds the foursome intending to enjoy a brief stop-over in Turkey as they return to New York. Instead, hearts race and tempers flare as an ancient artifact thrust on the family entangles them in political intrigue between the Kurds and the Turks.

In Book #13, ‘Smugglers: an unwanted reunion,’ Jack and Jenny are captured by smugglers, escape and in the process learn valuable life lessons.

Returning home via Istanbul they are engulfed in the intrigue between a Kurdish man and the local spy agency. The Kurdish man, Mesut, stuffs a message cylinder into Jenny’s bag and the Pursuit begins without them even knowing.

Pursuit continues the adventure almost six months later in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania and points south. The Turkish spy agency wants the Kurdish message cylinder and seemingly will stop at nothing to intimidate the Carlton’s and Casey’s into giving it up.

Young Jachike (Jack) and Jenny are thrust into a swirl of events they barely understand and fight for their sanity and what is right. Jack is faced with an almost insurmountable spiritual dilemma pushing him to new borders of spiritual growth. Jenny assumes the role of Prayer Warrior and Jack goes in pursuit mode.
